Undoutedly, art promotes patience and determination. Children who practice sketching learn how hard and much time it takes to ahcieve a slight progress. So the continuous effort allows them to stay patient and never give up.
Besides, art boosts problem solving skill. Art is about creating something out of nothing. A child will ask himself how to bring a lifeless piece of clay into life by creating sculpture, and try to gain support from others. That way they are more experienced in solving problems in the future career or life when facing difficulties.
