From my point of view, I don’t reckon having money and power is the best definition of success, because there are so many other things that matter. Having a lot of material possessions and power means that a person can afford more consumer goods, lead a luxury lifestyle and enjoy more privilege in certain areas. But it’s not necessarily equal to success. Better measures and standards should be taken into consideration, like the contribution people make to the whole world, and the recognition and respect of people from different walks of life. Only when people bring their own value into full play and contribute to the whole society, can their career paths be rated as a successful one.
