Some people think that modem technology has made people's lives simpler. Others believe it has made people's lives more complicated. Which point of view do you agree with? Explain why.
I believe modern technology somehow makes people's lives more complicated. Admittedly, new technologies are supposed to make life easier, but actually, they just go the opposite way. For example, nowadays cellphones are smaller and smaller so that they can be more portable. But meanwhile, people constantly make mistakes, dialing the wrong number because it's very difficult to manipulate the smaller button. Also, people invent the universal remote control to deal with multiple electronic devices which aims to help people operate the devices easily. But then they find out that they need to spend a long time reading the descriptions and figuring out the function of each button, which actually makes the thing more complicated.
