I believe social media has a positive influence on public opinion. It provides a powerful platform for people to raise awareness about important issues that affect peoples’ everyday lives. It can also mobilize people for social causes and create a sense of community.

In my opinion, social media has a negative influence on public opinion. Because people often frequent sites that discuss issues that they are interested in, social media can lead to people only hearing opinions that reinforce their own beliefs. This can lead to a fragmented society.
